Didgeridoos made by Nicolas Aussel and Kelu

Horizonde What is it, who is it??? Nicolas Aussel tells us: Passionate about the world of horses since my adolescence, I followed professional studies to become a riding teacher. I came to the didgeridoo, or rather the didgeridoo came to me at the end of 2011 a little by chance. It's an instrument that immediately spoke to me: the sensations, vibrations and richness of this instrument awakened something deep within me. Since a young age I have enjoyed crafts and I love woodworking. It was therefore quite natural that I became interested in making these instruments and very quickly, a few weeks after this fabulous discovery, I started making didgeridoos, while following training as a riding instructor. It is self-taught that I practice this creative activity, with the constant concern to refine my techniques and improve the quality of the instruments, which makes my hands think for the pleasure of the ears!

Why Horizonde by KELU?

You may know him as the didgeridoo player called Kelu. It is with this artist and friend that we decided to create a rather special range of didgeridoo. The idea is to design instruments that inspire our dear Kelu. We mix our experiences, as players and manufacturers, to design and create 4-handed didgeridoos. It’s an enriching experience! KELU's Horizonde didgeridoo are recognizable thanks to their logo, where Kelu's paw covers part of the foliage of the Horizonde tree. Please note that it is not because Kelu makes didgeridoos that all the instruments that will see the light of day will be for his style of play. There should be something for all tastes and budgets.
