In short: A 5-string Cosmicbow in tigerwood, 72 cm long, with spoon: a mouth bow with astonishing harmonic sounds, supplied with its stick, instructions and protective bag.
The instrument: The Cosmicbow is a harmonic instrument invented by Christopher Vila in autumn 2008. It can have from 5 to 8 strings. The stick sets the strings vibrating, and they set the wood vibrating. The mouth rests on the thin spoon-shaped part at the end and shapes the harmonics through its movements.
The sounds that come out seem "electronic", but they are natural: no need for effects or a microphone. Each instrument allows dozens of tunings.
The Cosmicbow belongs to the family of mouth bows, traditionally with one or two strings, which are among humanity's oldest stringed instruments.
This one: Current tuning: F C D B G. Many other tunings are possible, waiting to be explored! A great sound, very generous, broad and warm, that warms the heart!

How do you play it? A little like the jaw harp, the mouth acts as a sound box, but with more freedom of movement for the jaw and lips, and the possibility of singing while you keep striking the strings with the stick.
All the strings can be tuned: simply change the tuning to have a different instrument in your hands and explore other landscapes. You can dive in knowing nothing, simply following your ear and your heart. No need for references: we open our own paths!
