In short: A dream catcher 16 cm in diameter, entirely handmade by Isabelle Durand, in local wood and natural feathers.

The dream catcher: It is made of local wood (chestnut, dogwood, serviceberry or hazel) and eagle, vulture, goose or pheasant feathers. It catches the dreams floating in the night air. Good dreams know their way through the web: filtered by the feathers, they are reborn night after night.

Bad dreams, represented by the beads, are caught in the net and burned by the first light of day.

Dream catcher diameter: 16 cm

The craftswoman: Isabelle Durand makes her dream catchers at Nomad-Elze, at the Mas de Léouze, in Rogues, in the Gard (southern France): a building typical of the limestone plateau, on the edge of the Vis gorges, downstream from the Cirque de Navacelles. A UNESCO tourism ambassador, she also welcomes visitors there, in a setting of unspoilt nature.
