Dreamcatcher 11
Handmade by a French craftsman, Éric Terrades, in the purest tradition! Each dreamcatcher is absolutely unique. Everything is made entirely by hand, from the hoop to the weaving! According to tradition, the dreamcatcher is meant to keep bad dreams from disturbing the sleep of its owner. It keeps the beautiful images of the night and burns the bad ones at the first light of day. Each dreamcatcher has a turquoise at the centre of the web.
Diameter of the dreamcatcher: 29cm
Éric Terrades has always been fascinated by traditional peoples and their ways of life. Enriched by his travels and training, he has always lived close to nature. Today he lives with his family in the mountains of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, where they run an organic farm. It is in this magical place that Éric makes all his pieces.

Discovering a wonderful world, where imagination, dreams and talent come together!
Eric is a former shepherd. Since he was a child, Eric has always been fascinated by traditional people and their way of life. He has studied extensively the primitive survival practices which he puts into practice daily. He discovered Yidaki (didjeridoo) while living in Australia with his wife Nancy, listening to traditional recordings. His first instrument was the charango (Bolivian string instrument). He plays the style of northern Potosi (a department of Bolivia) which has a very particular way of making, tuning and playing. He also worked on a repertoire of traditional Lakota (Sioux) love songs by Kévin Locke (Lakota) on the native American flute. Traditional music is therefore a long story for him. A former Shepherd, having always lived in nature, it is the only music that really speaks to him. He also shared this music with you in his sculptures.
Hunters or gatherers hunters. Never mind. This is what we all once were, at one time. Living in a well-defined environment and taking advantage of what it offers us. We only took what we needed and respected our nurturing Mother Earth as well as all her animal and plant creatures.
